How long are therapy sessions?

Our session lengths vary based on the service:

  • Evaluations – About 90 minutes

  • Therapy sessions – 45 minutes

  • Developmental Movement – 60 minutes

What can I expect in the first session?

In the first session, we focus on getting to know your child and understanding their unique needs. The evaluation includes:

  • Discussion with parents – We’ll talk about your child’s development, challenges, and goals.

  • Observations & assessments – Our therapist will engage your child in play-based activities to assess their skills.

  • Next steps – We’ll share initial insights and discuss a personalized therapy plan if needed.

Our goal is to make this a comfortable, supportive experience for both you and your child!

How often will my child need therapy?

The frequency of therapy depends on your child’s individual needs and goals. After the initial evaluation, our therapist will recommend a schedule that provides the right level of support.

This could be once a week, twice a week or periodic follow-up session. We’ll work with you to find the best plan to help your child thrive!

Can I stay in the session with my child?

Parent involvement is very important in the therapy process! Depending on your child’s needs, you may actively participate, observe, or wait nearby in the waiting room. However, we do not offer drop-off sessions - your presence and support make a big difference!

Do you have bilingual therapists?

Yes!

Our Pediatric Speech Therapist speaks English and Spanish.

Our Pediatric Dietitian speaks English and Hebrew.

What should my child bring to a session?

Most sessions don’t require anything special, but if applicable, please bring:

For babies, it’s best to bring:

  • A spare set of clothes
