Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Pediatric
Part-Time (W2)
Location: Dumont, NJ Employment Type: Part-Time (W2) Starting Hours: 6 hours/week, with gradual increase as caseload grows Schedule: Weekdays only, flexible hours Pay: $63/hour About Us PRIMES Pediatric Development Center is a small and growing pediatric clinic located in Dumont, NJ, serving children ages 0–6. We're seeking a skilled and compassionate pediatric SLP to join our interdisciplinary team in a warm, clinic-based setting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to add a consistent part-time role with the potential to grow alongside our expanding client base. What You’ll Do Provide 1:1 speech and language therapy for young children (ages 0–6) Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with families Maintain documentation in our EMR system (Simple Practice) Work closely with a supportive team including OT, pediatric nutrition, and early development specialists What We’re Looking For - Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - CCC-SLP certification (ASHA) - Valid NJ license - At least 2 years of pediatric clinical experience (ages 0–6) - Familiarity with early intervention (birth–3) and play-based therapy approaches - Strong communication and collaboration skills with both families and team members - Professionalism, flexibility, and a child-centered mindset - Clinical Experience with: Language delays and disorders (receptive, expressive, and pragmatic) Articulation and phonological disorders Apraxia of speech Fluency disorders Autism spectrum disorders Experience with feeding therapy and/or oral-motor treatment is a strong plus. Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Part-Time (W2)
Pay: $60.00 per hour Job description: * Warm, family-centered clinic in Dumont, NJ - supporting children ages 0–6 * About Us: Primes Pediatric Development Center is a warm, family-centered clinic in Dumont, NJ, dedicated to helping children from birth to age six reach their full potential. Our growing team provides occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding and nutrition services, and parent education - all under one roof. We believe in a nurturing, collaborative approach where therapists work closely with families to support developmental milestones and everyday skills. As our caseload continues to expand, we’re excited to welcome a compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is eager to make a difference in children’s lives while growing alongside our team. Position Details: In-person sessions at our Dumont, NJ clinic Part-Time, hourly position Hours: 5–10 per week to start, with a guaranteed minimum of 5 paid hours. Caseload is actively expanding, and additional hours will steadily become available as new families join the center Weekday schedule only (no weekends) Clients: children birth to age six, with family participation encouraged Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children’s functional abilities, including motor, sensory, and play skills Identify developmental delays and challenges; develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy for children (birth to 6 years) using play-based and evidence-informed approaches Implement interventions to support daily activities and independence Educate families on adaptive strategies and at-home support techniques Document progress and adjust plans as needed within our EMR system Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in ongoing education Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state licensure requirements Qualifications:: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) Current NJ OT license and active NBCOT certification Pediatric experience preferred (birth to 6 years through work, internships, or clinical rotations will be considered) Skilled in working with children with sensory challenges, motor delays/difficulties, autism, and related developmental needs Comfortable conducting evaluations, setting goals, and writing progress reports Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and team members Reliable, empathetic, and committed to supporting children and families Preferred Skills: Additional training in sensory processing, feeding, or early intervention approaches Familiarity with parent coaching and family-centered care Interest in professional growth and learning advanced pediatric approaches Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance (medical, vision, dental) and 401(k) plan available after qualifying period Positive, team-oriented work environment with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship Job Type: Part-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Professional development assistance Vision insurance License/Certification: OTR (Required) Occupational Therapy License (Required) Ability to Commute: Dumont, NJ 07628 (Required) Work Location: In person
