Dr. Inbal Shamir, Ph.D
Founder and CEO

Dr. Inbal Shamir is the founder and CEO of Primes Pediatric Development Center, where she brings over 21 years of experience in sensory-motor therapy and a lifelong passion for child development. She specializes in supporting infants and toddlers with motor challenges and developmental delays, helping each child reach their full potential through tailored, evidence-based care.

Dr. Shamir holds a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Child Development, and a Ph.D. in Child Development. Her doctoral research explored the intricate relationship between motor and communication development in early childhood — a connection that continues to shape her therapeutic approach and philosophy at Primes.

Throughout her career, she has combined hands-on clinical work with academic teaching and leadership. For seven years, Dr. Shamir served as a university lecturer, teaching courses on sensory processing, motor development, language acquisition, cognitive growth, and behavioral regulation. Her teaching emphasized bridging research with real-world practice, a value she now brings to the heart of the center.

As the driving force behind Primes, Dr. Shamir is deeply committed to building a nurturing, high-quality environment where children and families feel seen, supported, and empowered. Her vision for Primes is rooted in personalized care, interdisciplinary teamwork, and a belief in every child’s ability to grow — with the right tools, the right timing, and the right support.
