Communication and Language
Difficulty articulating certain sounds or being understood.
Using fewer words than expected for age.
Struggling to follow directions or understand spoken language.
Challenges expressing thoughts, needs, or feelings.
Trouble with social communication, such as taking turns or maintaining eye contact.
Stuttering or unusual voice patterns.
Early Development Concerns
Delays in reaching motor milestones, such as rolling, sitting, crawling, or standing
Showing discomfort during tummy time.
Difficulty holding head up or keeping it steady
Persistent head tilt or preference to turn the head one side.
Flat spots on the back or side of the head (plagiocephaly / Brachycephaly)
Asymmetrical movement patterns, like favoring one arm or leg, or crawling unevenly
Does not bring hands to midline (e.g., not playing with hands together by 3-4 months)
Not reaching for toys or exploring with hands
Low muscle tone or overall body floppiness (hypotonia)
Poor or inconsistent eye contact
Limited facial expressions or lack of social smiles
Not responding to sounds or name being called
Limited babbling or vocalization by expected ages
Difficulty calming or self-soothing
Feeding difficulties (trouble sucking, swallowing, or chewing)
Lack of interest in interaction or play with others
Sensory Motor Concerns
Showing discomfort during tummy time.
Consistently tilting the head to one side or showing a preference for one side.
Delays in reaching milestones like sitting, crawling, or walking.
Walking on tiptoes.
Struggles with hand-eye coordination.
Trouble with fine motor tasks like holding a pencil or using scissors
Difficulty with gross motor movements like running, jumping, or climbing
Clumsiness or poor balance
Challenges with everyday tasks like getting dressed or self-feeding
Feeding and Nutrition
Picky eating or refusal of certain foods
Challenges moving from bottles to solids or trying new textures
Feeding aversions caused by sensory sensitivities
Concerns about growth, weight gain, or nutrition
Trouble chewing or swallowing food safely
Difficulty with self-feeding or messy eating habits
